A few months ago I was going through old unfinished projects from 2002 and found something that sounded interesting. After some heavy reworking this was the result: an uplifting track somewhere between hard trance and late 90's style floating goa, released on Bonzai's Republika label.
I've been aware for some time that there is a third-party firmware enhancement called CHDK available for some Canon digicams. Today I finally tested it out on my A620, which I've been using as a pocket cam.
...that's what they teach at every design course. Seems to apply to pretty much everything: music, visual design, films, you name it. That said, some of the best stuff in all of those is not simple at all, but usually the KISS principle does hold true.
It's strange how fast things seem to be changing all the time. The courses I'm taking at school have once again had a profound effect on my way of thinking and plans for the future. I'm studying at the right place then, I guess.
Finally I've set up a more-or-less proper personal website... took me about two years to find the time and motivation.
For now the site is entirely in English, maybe in the future I'll get around to adding a Finnish translation too. Now I just hope there won't be any problems with the content management system I'm using...
